Varzi – Alfa Romeo Framed Painting

The painting depicts Varzi behind the wheel of a Alfa Romeo. Varzi won six
Grand Prix events in 1934 driving the Alfa P3. Sadly while practicing for the 1948
Swiss Grand Prix his Alfa Romeo 158 skidded and flipped on the wet surface,
ultimately crushing him to death. Varzi won 33 races while competing in 133
events.
