“Roberg, developed an edgy interpretation of scripture. He thought that those who preach the Word and those who profess to follow it as “blinded by so many centuries of dogma.” To him the masses were lost sheep about to miss the heavenly kingdom. His life changed one day when out of desperation he picked up chalk and illustrated the meaning of scripture on the sidewalk. Suddenly people stopped, looked and even paid attention to his preaching. He says he learned more from them than they did from him. He had long found fault with the Christianity he was preaching and came to reject the Trinity, a virgin birth, or that Jesus was God. As he studied Church History, he was horrified at the way Christians robbed, denigrated and murdered Jews. Finally, he left the church and stopped saying he was a Christian. In studying the scriptures, he learned people need no one to teach them about God for God will teach everyone. He still goes out on the street corners with his art to dialogue with people not to save them”
