This painting depicts Gilles Villeneuve during a quiet moment in the cockpit of his Ferrari 126CK. The Scuderia entered a new era in 1981, forsaking their familiar 3 litre flat 12 for a turbo-charged V6. He ended the season with two victories, in Monaco and Spain.
