This print is taken from an edition of 500 by Nicholas Watts. Unique in Le Mans history, the same driving team of Frank Biela, Emmanuele Pirro and Tom Kristensen were victorious over consecutive years driving the Audi Joest R8. The image depicts the 2002 race, with Pirro negotiating the first chicane at dusk. Depicted on the lower left margin is a study of winning car in 2000 with Kristensen driving, and on the lower right margin is a study of Biela in the wet race of 2001.
