Aston Martin took victory at the 85th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in dramatic style with Jonny Adam snatching the GTE Pro Lead on the final lap of the iconic endurance race. Partnered by Daniel Serra and Darren Turner their Aston Martin V8 Vantage performed faultlessly completing 340 laps in a grueling race in soaring temperatures. The sister cars of Nicki Thiim, Marco Sorenson, and Richie Stanaway finished 9th in the Pro Class and Paul Dalla Lana, Mathias Lauda, and Pedro Lamy finished 8th in the Am class.
