The 1982 Belgian Grand Prix was a Formula 1 race held at Zolder on the May 9, 1982.
It was the fifth round of the 1982 Formula 1 Season. Sadly, Canadian driver Gilles Villeneuve was killed in an accident during the final qualifying session.
The race was won by John Watson of McLaren-Ford, with Keke Rosberg of Williams-Ford finishing second, and American Eddie Cheever rounding out the podium in third place for Ligier-Matra.
