Brian Redman and Jo Siffert won the Sicilian Classic of 1970 driving a Porsche 908-3 entered by JW Automotive. The image depicts the winning car climbing into the mountains from Cerda with Vaccarello's Ferrari 512 in hot persuit.   The 'diamonds' car completed eleven laps of the Piccolo Circuito Madonie, a distance of 491 miles at an average speed of 74.7 mph to win its debut race.
