This scene is taken from the 1979 Long Beach Grand Prix.  1978 was the year of the Ferrari duo of Carlos Reutemann and the mercurial Gilles Villeneuve. Gilles led from the start but a tangle with Regazzoni's Shadow left the French-Canadian embedded in the wall. Reutemann took over, and despite the best efforts of a hard charging Alan Jones the Argentine driver held on to the win. Villeneuve made amends in 1979 with a well judged win just ahead of new team mate Jody Scheckter. 

The edition is limited to 350 and features the great Gilles Villeneuve in the Ferrari.  The margins contain artist's remarques of the Queen Mary,  the driver in the car,  and the famous Ferrari prancing pony.  The prints are signed by artist Simon Ward.
