Parnelli Jones won the 1963 Indy 500 in his Watson Roadster. Starting from the pole,he dominated the race,led 167 laps and crossed the finish line ahead of runner up Jim Clark to claim his Indy 500 victory. Parnelli has a spectacular Indy 500 career.He started 7 races and led 492 laps.Was the first driver to qualify at over 150 MPH.Won 2 pole positions and was the 1961 Rookie Of The Year.In 1990 he was inducted to the International Motorsports Hall Of Fame.
